Your dedication, resilience, and commitment have brought you to this moment of achievement, and you should be proud of all you have accomplished. As you move forward into the next chapter of your lives, I encourage you to embrace the opportunities ahead with confidence and a strong sense of purpose. The knowledge and experiences you have gained will serve as a solid foundation for your future endeavours. Ghana and Japan share a longstanding and dynamic partnership, built over decades of cooperation in areas such as education, science and technology, and cultural exchange. As graduates, you are part of this enduring relationship and have a role to play in strengthening the bonds between our nations. As we look ahead, we will be marking three significant milestones: the centenary of Dr. Hideyo Noguchi’s arrival in Ghana, fifty (50) years of the Japan Overseas Cooperation Volunteers (JOCV) Programme in Ghana, and seventy (70) years of diplomatic relations between Ghana and Japan. These celebrations present a unique opportunity for you to actively engage, contribute, and serve as ambassadors of this enduring friendship. I also encourage you to consider returning to Ghana to contribute your knowledge and skills towards national development. Those who have benefited from opportunities provided by the Government of Ghana are expected to demonstrate loyalty, patriotism, and a strong commitment to serving the nation. Once again, congratulations on your well-deserved success. I wish you every success in your future pursuits.
